Bart Calhoun is one of our firm's founding partners and helps lead our litigation department. Bart's practice focuses on litigation in numerous areas, including breach of contract, business torts, employment law, collections, probate litigation, divorce, appeals, and much more. Additionally, Bart regularly provides government relations counseling to clients engaged in highly regulated industries such as those in the fields of agriculture, construction, healthcare, medical marijuana, casino gaming, and banking.
Before entering private practice, Bart Calhoun served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Arkansas Attorney General's Office, primarily serving in the public protection department. As a part of such practice, he represented the interests of Arkansas consumers in federal and state courts located throughout the United States.
Also while at the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, Bart Calhoun provided counsel with respect to proposed legislation and regularly communicated with members from the Arkansas General Assembly. In 2017 and 2020, Bart was named one of the top litigators in Little Rock, Arkansas by Little Rock Soiree. In 2021 he was named as a top business litigation attorney in Little Rock by Super Lawyers.
